About

I’m an Android engineer in Valencia. I build apps that run on the device: offline, private and fast.

In my free time

I design, build and ship my own apps under the Glosso Studio name, from the first commit to the store.

• Glosso Studio: grades your pronunciation sound by sound. Open beta on Google Play.
• TransitOS: open-source transit app for Valencia. In production on Google Play.
• EdgeMind: a voice assistant with Gemma 4 running entirely on the phone.
• CountIn: people counting with computer vision in the browser.

Hardware, too

I know a bit of hardware and electronics. Since I was 15, I’ve been tinkering with programming and robots, and taking apart electronic devices to understand how they work. At first I only broke them; over time I learned to fix them, and today I improve them.

• Tagus e-readers: recovered a bricked device over UART and turned broken-screen units into one-button ereaders with a dashboard.
• OpenFit bike: rewired the internal electronics of an exercise bike to get it working. Now starting an ESP32 display (still in very early stages) that will sync with the phone and generate .fit files.

How I work

• End to end. Product decisions, code, store listing, website and support.
• From scratch when it matters. When a library hides the part I want to understand, I write it myself: the tracker, the scoring engine.
• In public. I write about what I learn on the blog.
